Thursday, September 2nd, 2010

This has been doing the rounds online for a few days now. FC Rubin Kazan were leading 1-0 over PFC Spartak Nalchik when their goalkeeper, Sergei Ryzhikov, made this horrendous error.

Those wacky Footballers in FC Stjarnan are at it again with their latest crazy goal celebration.

WWFO: Fisherman’s Goal celebration

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

Seeing as we showed you two insane goals last night, it’s only right that we celebrate them appropriately. Luckily Iceland’s top league known as the Pepsi Division, or Úrvalsdeild, is here with this effort by Halidorr Ori and his team mates, most notably Johann Laxdal who really gets in on the part.

WWFO: Spain Under 19s score two cracking goals

Tuesday, July 27th, 2010

The Spanish Under 19 Football team has taken the internet by storm with these two remarkable efforts. The first is a penalty where the kicker, Calvente, essentially hits it with his stride.

Not happy with just one wonder goal dominating the web, Spain followed it up with this audacious set-piece against England.

Golazo de Inca – Sol de America [...]

WWFO: Three shorthanded goals in one penalty

Monday, April 12th, 2010

The Boston Bruins did something rather extraordinary the other night against the Carolina Hurricanes. The Canes were awarded a power play, which for non-Ice Hockey fans meant Boston would have to play for 2 minutes with one less player giving Carolina a numerical advantage. Normally during powerplays the team down a play tries to kill [...]

WWFO: Downtown Toronto after a certain Mr Crosby scored

Wednesday, March 3rd, 2010

A big thanks to my former DCU Saints team-mate Shane Maguire for sending this my way. It’s footage from the wild celebrations in Toronto that followed after Sidney Crosby scored the goal that gave the hosts Ice Hockey gold.

While it’s pretty awesome, we still think the New Orleans Saints supporters lead the way in 2010 [...]
